What do you advise we bring along for our charter?
As with any outdoor venue, we recommend that your guests dress for the season (i.e. sunscreen and a hat in summer, a warm jacket in winter). Bring your own CDs if you have not booked a DJ.
Are there any special footwear requirements?
We recommend rubber soled shoes, ie: deck shoes, preferably no high heels. A no shoe policy is encouraged though, as this is more comfortable.
Arrival at the wharf
We recommend that your party arrives at the wharf 30 minutes prior to your charter. The boats need to book the wharves and have a limited time to pick up and drop off your guests.
Multiple pick up and drop offs
We do not recommend multiple pick up and drop offs as this can waste a considerable amount of your charter time. Instead, we are happy to supply you with a water taxi contact number that can deliver or pick up guests at their convenience.
The charter was perfect!! Everyone had a wonderful time. The service on-board the boat was impeccable, several people commented on how impressed they were with it. The food was delicious. There was absolutely no complaints, in fact it was one of the best events the company has hosted. Thanks very much to you at Sydney Harbour Escapes, how easy you made it to book the event, it went very smoothly. And thanks to everyone on-board Enigma, who made our night a memorable one!!
Just a short note to say thank you for your assistance with organising our cruise.
I could not have asked for a better day. The MV Enigma is a beautiful boat and David and the rest of the crew were wonderful.
Many thanks once again. Samantha Vella
I am very sorry for the delay in sending this email, but i just wanted to thank your company and the staff aboard the Lightwave on the 25th November who made our wedding aboard so special.
I have attached a little photo which we had taken. We live in England and we couldnt have imagined such a great location and place to get married.
Thank you once again, Helen & Dave
Everyone thought the boat was fantastic on Friday and the crew was extremely attentive and hospitable to all our needs. It was lovely to be able to sit back with a nice relaxing lunch, and everyone enjoyed pulling into the bay for a swim. The crew were also very accommodating by picking us up from a different wharf at Walsh Bay and everything ran smoothly once we were aboard. All in all it was a great day, but I apologise to the crew for our bad taste in music!
The day was exceptional. The staff on the cruise went above and beyond our expectations. They organised the preparation and cooking of our lunch and ensured snacks were doing rounds on the boat (which is important when drinking alcohol!). I have been on several cruises and this one has definately set the bench mark. Please pass on my thanks to all of the staff on the boat yesterday.
They were fabulous.
