Re: New Year's Eve Cruise "Please thank Mike and Collin for their excellent services on NYE, we had a great time and appreciated their understanding in having so many inebriated poms on board! They did a great job getting us a top location for the fireworks and i would highly recommend the boat as a good value option for NYE. Thanks, Andrew" History MV Sea Messenger History The MV Sea Messenger captures the charm and elegance of a bygone era. It was initially built in the 1950's to lay and repair shark netting making the waters safe for swimming to all Sydneysiders from Manly to Palm Beach. The Sea Messenger was later used for off shore deep sea fishing, supplying Sydney with the freshest catch. In 1988 it was totally refitted as a working ferry. The name Sea Messenger comes from the original owner C. Messenger (Charlie Messenger) an absolute legend on Sydney Harbour. The Messenger family built Sydney's first boat shed at Double Bay which is still there today. | |
