General Boat Information
Calypso is very spacious and 52' in length. In fact, if you include the swim platform it is over 57'!. There is seating at the rear of the boat for ten, a saloon area with a full bar, complete galley, and two staterooms with en suites. The bow of the boat is very spacious and holds 15 people comfortably and has a stunning sun pad.

Formal dining: 8 guests inside, 10 guests on the aft deck area.
Can anyone go cruising?
That's the great thing about Calypso. Because of its size and spaciousness, anyone can enjoy this experience, no matter what your age. We've had passengers of all ages ranging from young children to the elderly. The boat is very stable and easy to move around, with steps, guards and hand rails.
How many staff will be on the boat?
Sea Sydney Cruises takes safety seriously and is one of our main concerns. A qualified skipper will always be in command of Calypso and we hire qualified and personable deckhands. There will always be two staff on board for all events.
Length of charter
Minimum charter length is 4 hours. Extra time can be organised at an additional cost per hour.
Arrival at the wharf
We recommend that your party arrives at the wharf 30 minutes prior to your charter. The boats need to book the wharves and have a limited time to pick up and drop off your guests.
Preferred pick up and drop off locations
Pick up and drop off is generally alongside the Park Hyatt Hotel at Campbell's Cove Pontoon. The route for the day really depends on those passengers on board and is of course dependent on the weather. You tell us what you want to do and we will try to accommodate your needs. Cruising is restricted however to Sydney Harbour. Generally we would suggest motoring along the spectacular shores of the harbour, providing breathtaking views of the city and the eastern suburbs prior to dropping anchor at Taronga Zoo or near Manly at the delightful Quarantine beach.
This boat can pick up and drop off at most public and private wharves in Sydney Harbour. Preferable wharves are floating docks. We can advise you of the most suitable wharf near you.
Multiple pick up and drop offs
We do not recommend multiple pick up and drop offs as this can waste a considerable amount of your charter time. Instead, we are happy to supply you with a water taxi contact number that can deliver or pick up guests at their convenience.
Entertainment options/Presentation Facilities
This boat is well equipped for both interior and exterior gatherings. The entertainment system comprises of the following:

We can also arrange; decorations and theming, relaxation and massage therapists, comedians and magicians, murder mystery evenings, laser shooting, wine evenings, live music, karaoke, harpists and string quartets. Please ask us for more information and quotes.

This vessel is able to accommodate BYO Food and alcohol.
There is a fully equipped galley, and fridge. The boat has cutlery, plates and glasses for 32 passengers as well as salad bowls, platters and other basic kitchen items.
You may BYO alcohol for your charter. If you wish to have alcohol delivered as well, we recommend Rose Bay Liquor Store as they can deliver alcohol to the vessel if required. Please note a corkage fee applies for BYO alcohol charters.
If you like you can arrange to have your order delivered to the vessel prior to your charter, please arrange this directly with the skipper once your charter is confirmed.
Wait staff are available at $40 per hour. Please book in advance of your charter.
What should I bring for my day on Sydney Harbour?
Dress as you would for a day at the beach or a day boating. Sensible, sturdy shoes are recommended, sunglasses, a hat and clothes for both warm and cooler weather. Swim suit is a must, towels and sunscreen. Sydney Harbour truly is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world so don't forget your camera or video.
What happens if it is raining on the day?
Calypso cruises no matter what the weather is like. Why? Because the boat is very stable and offers all round protection from the elements.

|GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION|
All prices in $AUS and include 10% GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. *Surcharge for weekends and public holidays may apply. # Seasonal rate, please refer to individual boat sheets. Minimum 4 hour charter unless specified otherwise on individual boat sheets.
If the weather is dangerous for boating, no postponement charge will apply at the discretion of Sydney Harbour Escapes management. Rescheduled Charters must be used within 6 months of the original booking date. Payment will still apply for catering or optional staff arrangements in the event of postponement.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT
A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your vessel. The balance is payable 14 days prior to your charter. Visa, MasterCard and Amex credit cards are accepted. Eftpos facilities are available. Electronic Funds Transfer and cash also accepted. We do not accept cheques.
If the Charterer cancels the Charter within 30 days of the date of the Charter, the deposit will be forfeited. If charter is cancelled inside 7 days and full payment has been made the whole charter fee which may include catering, alcohol and wait staff will be forfeited. If notice of cancellation is 31 days or greater the deposit will be refunded less a 50% booking and administration fee. Deposits for all November - December and public holiday bookings are non-refundable.
Some vessels may require a security bond, taken by credit card imprint and kept for at least 14 days in case of loss or damage to hire vessel or another vessel. Please ask a Sydney Harbour Escapes representative for more information if this is required for your chartered vessel.
In the event of a mechanical problem to the booked vessel, Sydney Harbour Escapes reserves the right to change the vessel to another of similar type and capacity in order for the charter to be completed.

Most boats have their own individual caterers and menus which include cocktail, buffet and formal dining options. Some vessels will not allow BYO food or beverages. Some exceptions may apply, e.g. religious requirements. With vessels that allow you to BYO food, you are welcome to supply your own food or alternatively we can suggest our recommended caterers. Please ask a Sydney Harbour Escapes team member for more information regarding the Sydney Harbour cruise boat of your choice. Chef & Wait staff hire are available upon request.
