Extra time can be organised at an additional cost per hour. Arrival at the wharf We recommend that your party arrives at the wharf 30 minutes prior to your charter. The boats need to book the wharves and have a limited time to pick up and drop off your guests. Preferred pick up and drop off locations There are a number of locations available for pick up and drop off, including King Street Wharf. Please enquire as to a suitable location for your party. Multiple pick up and drop offs We do not recommend multiple pick up and drop offs as this can waste a considerable amount of your charter time. Instead, we are happy to supply you with a water taxi contact number that can deliver or pick up guests at their convenience. Presentation Facilities on board For corporate presentations, the state of the art audio visual systems and the large table in the main saloon doubles as an impressive board room. The vessel is well equipped to handle any corporate functions, product launches, conference groups or seminars. There is a split level surround sound audio system coupled with the Plasma/DVD/Video system available for use. There is also provision for you to bring projectors for Powerpoint presentations if required. Entertainment options The boat is equipped with 240V power. We can arrange a DJ or you can BYO DJ. The boat is equipped with an amazing split level surround sound system with a CD player which is mp3 compatible. We encourage you to BYO CDs or an ipod. Alternatively we can recommend a band, duo or singer/ instrumentalist. The vessel has a multi level audio system which allows you to isolate the various area from the exterior areas, so you can create your own moods. With the entertainment set up in the bar area, there is plenty of room to pump up the volume and dance! Catering Options As this vessel is top of the range, there is an extensive menu choice available. Please see below for sample menus. This vessel is fully licensed. Premium and standard bar packages are available at a set price per person. What to bring As with any outdoor venue, we recommend that your guests dress for the season (i.e. sunscreen and a hat in summer, a warm jacket in winter). Bring your own CDs or ipod along if you have not booked a DJ. Booking and Payment We require a 50% deposit to lock the date for you. Once we have received the deposit payment, we will generate a contract for you with all your details. 2 weeks prior to the charter date we require final numbers and the balance of the payment. If you are taking the consumption bar option, we require credit card details and the consumption bar total will be processed at the conclusion of the charter. PRICES All prices in $AUS and include 10% GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. *Surcharge for weekends and public holidays may apply. # Seasonal rate, please refer to individual boat sheets. Minimum 4 hour charter unless specified otherwise on individual boat sheets. UNSAFE WEATHER If the weather is dangerous for boating, no postponement charge will apply at the discretion of Sydney Harbour Escapes management. Rescheduled Charters must be used within 6 months of the original booking date. Payment will still apply for catering or optional staff arrangements in the event of postponement. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and secure your vessel. The balance is payable 14 days prior to your charter. Visa, MasterCard and Amex credit cards are accepted. Eftpos facilities are available. Electronic Funds Transfer and cash also accepted. We do not accept cheques. CANCELLATION If the Charterer cancels the Charter within 30 days of the date of the Charter, the deposit will be forfeited. If charter is cancelled inside 7 days and full payment has been made the whole charter fee which may include catering, alcohol and wait staff will be forfeited. If notice of cancellation is 31 days or greater the deposit will be refunded less a 50% booking and administration fee. Deposits for all November - December and public holiday bookings are non-refundable. |
BOND Some vessels may require a security bond, taken by credit card imprint and kept for at least 14 days in case of loss or damage to hire vessel or another vessel. Please ask a Sydney Harbour Escapes representative for more information if this is required for your chartered vessel. VESSEL In the event of a mechanical problem to the booked vessel, Sydney Harbour Escapes reserves the right to change the vessel to another of similar type and capacity in order for the charter to be completed. We are more than happy to suggest the most suitable pick-up and drop-off locations for your group. CATERING Most boats have their own individual caterers and menus which include cocktail, buffet and formal dining options. Some vessels will not allow BYO food or beverages. Some exceptions may apply, e.g. religious requirements. With vessels that allow you to BYO food, you are welcome to supply your own food or alternatively we can suggest our recommended caterers.
