Length of charter
Minimum charter length is 4 hours. Extra time can be organised at an additional cost per hour.
Arrival at the wharf
We recommend that your party arrives at the wharf 30 minutes prior to your charter. The boats need to book into the wharves and have a limited time to pick up and drop off your guests.
Preferred pick up and drop off locations
There are a number of locations available for pick up and drop off, including King Street Wharf at Darling Harbour. Please enquire as to a suitable location for your party. All NSW Maritime wharves incura booking fee. Please get in contact with Sydney Harbour Escapes for more details.
Multiple pick up and drop offs
We do not recommend multiple pick up and drop offs as this can waste a considerable amount of your charter time. Instead, we are happy to supply you with a water taxi contact number that can deliver or pick up guests at their convenience.
Presentation Facilities on board
This vessel is well equipped for any type of presentation. With its own 32KVA generator, it can supply power to the existing facilities that include a TV/DVD system. There is also a PA system and a raised stage area.
Entertainment options
The boat is equipped with a good quality sound system with a multi-stack CD player. We encourage you to BYO CDs. With the dance floor, there is plenty of room to pump up the volume and dance!
The boat is equipped with 240V power. We can arrange a DJ or a live duo for your charter. Alternatively BYO small band or DJ. Please advise ahead of your charter should you require these services.
For special functions like weddings and birthdays there is also the ability to decorate the vessel.
BYO options
This boat does allow BYO food. There are additional charges for this option. There is a fully equipped galley and fridges for storage. Please note that we recommend pre-cooked, boat friendly food! For more information, please contact us.
What to bring
As with any outdoor venue, we recommend that your guests dress for the season (i.e. sunscreen and a hat in summer, a warm jacket in winter). Bring your own CDs if you have not booked a DJ.
Booking and Payment
We require a 50% deposit to lock the date for you. Once we have received the deposit payment, we will generate a contract for you with all your details. 2 weeks prior to the charter date we require the balance of the payment. 4 working days prior to the charter date, we require final numbers and the payment for the catering. If you are taking the consumption bar option, we require payment within 5 working days of the charter.
Cancellation Policy
If notice of cancellation is 22 days or greater the deposit will be refunded less a 10% booking and administration fee. If you cancel the charter within 21 days of the date of the charter, the deposit will be forfeited. If charter is cancelled inside 7 days and full payment has been made the whole charter fee (which may include catering, alcohol and wait staff) will be forfeited.
Boat inspections are welcome by appointment.
