Sailing Regattas on Seawind 1000 Catamarans are challenging and enable multipractice of teamwork and leadership roles. Regattas are designed with maximum team participation in mind to ensure a fantastic event for everyone on board.
In order to achieve a positive team building result, participants shall be encouraged to take part in all activities involved in sailing the boat under the guidance of your qualified instructor.
The traditional regatta format involves a head to head race around pre-designated markers in the harbour.
Programs are flexible to suit your time frame.
Sample Regatta guide:
9.15am Meet at Rose Bay Marina where participants are welcomed, divided into crews and introduced to their respective skippers
9.30am Crews board their vessels for safety briefing, course details and sailing techniques
9.45am Boats assemble on starting line for commencement of regatta
11.45am Race finishes
12.00pm Anchor and raft up for lunch
1.15pm Boats return to Rose Bay Marina
1.30pm Debriefing, presentation of awards and farewell.
