The day begins with a short Harbour cruise aboard our Sydney Sundancer before we taking up priority position (reserved for charter boats) right on the start line for the Sydney to Hobart race, Australia's premier blue water racing classic. Once the ancient muzzle loading cannon is fired, signifying the start of this world famous event, Sydney Sundancer will follow the fleet of racing yachts to farewell them and wish them "bon voyage" at the heads of Sydney Harbour.
The huge deck area of this boat is made for entertaining and for maximum views on Boxing Day. Having fare welled the fleet, we will continue our cruise around the Harbour before anchoring for a late lunch and live entertainment.
