There is a perfect boat to suit your taste and budget. with 140 boats in the fleet to choose from we are sure we can find one that is perfect for your event.

We will outline the different types of boats for rent in our fleet so you have a base to start from, loosely starting from small to large.
This list is not exhaustive, but covers most boats in our fleet.

(Editors note) I am presuming you know nothing like I did to when I started sailing 20 years ago.

POWER BOATS

Water Limousines
If you would consider cruising in a sports car, then a water limousine is the equivalent on water. 

Jet Boats
For a fast ride, there is probably no equivalent.Jet boats are  designed to be agile to be stable and turn on a small circle, leaving the splash behind in its wake.

Pontoon Boats
Pontoon boats range from small to large, but the common feature is that the bottom hull is flat. They have a shallow drafts and are very stable.

Power Catamarans
Power Catamarans have two hulls and are powered by a strong motor. They are also very stable in the water.

Flybridge Motor Yachts
The flybridge is an open deck that is perfect for fantastic viewing. These boats are really popular for NYE in Sydney Harbour as they offer  extra vantage. They are also popular for fishing excursions, whale watching and touring where long distance sighting is an advantage.

Sports Cruisers
A sport cruiser usually has a combination of high performance and luxury. They generally have a comfortable livable interior for and most often sleeping quarters for short stays.

Superyachts
It is most often asked, what makes a boat a super yacht? Simply put, if you if have to ask the question then it is probably not a super yacht. a super yacht is built to impress on all levels. Used often by the rich an famous, a super yacht usually has all the features you would expect in a luxury home. Most super yachts are much more expensive than the average home.

Mega Yachts
Again- if you have to ask if it is a mega yacht it is probably not a mega yacht. Expect lots of toys aboard- Jet skis, spas, even helicopter pads, hidden garaged cars etc etc. Our recommendation is save your money and just hire it from us when you need want it!

SAILBOATS
Sailing boats have a single hull that provides stability in the water even on a strong lean on a turn. Even though aerodynamics  can explain that fact that sailing boats can go forward with the wind going the other way, it is worth holding on to the childlike  amazement that it happens. A piece of magic happens too when the boat is moving along at a fast pace and there is no sound - free energy! expect to hear the 'AHH' sound from your guests.

Catamarans and trimarans are known for extreme stability. (Yes you can race and have a drink in your hand)

Sailing Boat Lesson Two: Keel

What is a Keel? A keel is the 'fin' arangement under the boat. The keel pushes against sideways wind and water pressure and generates a forward motion. It also provides a weight to stop the boat from tipping over.

Boat designers have a feild day with playing with new fangled designs to add performance.

Sailing Boat Lesson Three: Sails and Masts
(A sail is the fabric that catches the wind and the mast is the tall support for it)

Sloop - One mast, two sails
Cutter - One mast towards the front , two sails
Ketch - Two masts, three sails
Schooner - Min 2 masts, the one at the back is taller, up to 6 sails
Yawl - Two masts, three sails with a small sail at the back
Cat - One sail , One mast


Sailing Racing Boats
Built for speed performance, these boats are fantastic on windy days where the boats come into their own.

Cruising Sailing Yachts
Generally a cruising boat is designed for sailing in a comfortable efficient manner whilst not skimping on life's little luxuries. Many people live on boats for years!  Perfect for parties.

Ferries
Ferries exude the old world style. Often timber built, expect to feel like the boat is very solid and you will have a stable ride.

Multi Level Large Event Boats
These boats are popular for weddings and conferences. They allow guests to walk around and experience many vantage points.  The facilities are very comfortable and most have fully set up commercial kitchens on board.

Large Glass Pontoon Boats
These boats offer the advantage of a high end function space with the added advantage of an all round moving view! Some glass pontoons that grace the harbour are multi level with green rooms and rising stage floors. These are very versatile spaces that allow many setting configurations.
